What this is

Zeemish is a collection of tools, sessions, audio generators, and listens built to help you pay attention — to your body, your mind, and what's actually going on underneath the noise.

Every tool uses a simple mechanic — holding, breathing, tapping, listening, watching — that forces a moment of honest contact with yourself. Some are 10 seconds. Some are 10 minutes. None of them tell you what to feel.

What it's built on

The techniques behind Zeemish draw from real, peer-reviewed research — not invented concepts, not pop psychology.

Somatic awareness — noticing what's happening in your body. The basis of most modern trauma and stress research.

Affect labelling — putting a word to a feeling. Studies show this reduces amygdala activation — your brain calms down when you name what's happening.

Autonomic regulation — using breath patterns to shift your nervous system between activation and rest. Slow exhales engage the vagus nerve. It's physiology, not philosophy.

Cognitive defusion — creating distance from your thoughts by externalising them. Writing a thought down or watching it pass changes your relationship to it.

Zeemish strips away the jargon and wraps these in interactions that work without explanation.

Zita

Zita is the intelligent layer inside Zeemish. She uses Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, to observe what happens during your session — what you type, how long you hold, what time you come — and designs a personalised experience and daily plan from the Zeemish library.

Zita remembers your patterns across sessions. She doesn't give advice. She reflects what she notices, and points you toward the next thing that might help.

Use safely

Some tools and sessions involve closing your eyes, controlled breathing, deep relaxation, or focused attention. Use common sense.

Always use Zeemish in a safe, stationary environment. Never while driving, operating machinery, cycling, walking near traffic, or anywhere that reduced attention could put you or others at risk.

Breath work can cause lightheadedness, tingling, or dizziness — especially extended exhale patterns. If you feel faint or uncomfortable, stop and breathe normally. If you have a respiratory condition, heart condition, or are pregnant, consult your doctor before using breath-based sessions.

Audio tools generate frequencies and tones that are designed to be listened to at moderate volume. Start low. Prolonged loud listening can damage hearing. If you experience discomfort, headaches, or ringing in your ears, stop immediately.

Some tools may bring up difficult feelings. That's by design — honest self-contact isn't always comfortable. But if anything feels overwhelming, stop. Close the page. You're in control.

Your data

Zeemish does not require an account, email address, or any personal information. There is no login.

If you use Zita, a random ID is stored in a browser cookie (zita_id) to remember your session history. This data is stored anonymously on Cloudflare's infrastructure. It contains what you typed, how long you held, and when you visited — nothing that identifies you personally.

If you clear your browser cookies, your Zita history resets permanently. There is no way to recover it.

Zeemish does not use analytics trackers, does not sell data, and does not share your information with third parties. The only external service used is Anthropic's Claude API, which processes your session data to generate Zita's responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing.

Zeemish is not therapy.

It is not a substitute for professional mental health support. The tools, sessions, audio, and AI-generated content are designed to support awareness and self-regulation — not to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

Zita is not a therapist. Her reflections are generated by an AI model based on limited session data. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unhelpful. Do not treat them as clinical advice.
